You seem to have taken my response amiss. I am sorry, I didn't mean it to be rude. It was an explanation of my normal behavior (I would never carry on a long conversation with someone else in your lj, either.) But then I was anwerering anyway your question about your kitty Bob (which I assume was light banter/joke, too, but I tend to take questions seriously and answer them.)
I would have come over here and answered your comment from there, but I thought since this is normally friends only over here, I'd make the exception, answer briefly and offer that if you wanted more conversation I'd add you back.
As you can see, I'm no doubt a good deal more trouble than I'm worth, but I didn't want you going away thinking whatever precipitated your response.
[and by the way, I'm gone for a week now, so if you respond and don't hear from me until at or near 24 July, it's physical absence, not social offense that prevents a response on my part. :-)
