I actually stopped posting due to the fact that an agency owner that hired me read one of my posts, figured out it was me and fired me before I started because I didn't write a glowing review of her agency or something. I got paranoid that other potential or current employers were reading it as well.

Hello. Leapfrogging through my Friends' Friends lists I found your journal and was wondering if you'd grant me access to read more. Always interested in smart local people with unique lives who write deftly. My own journal is dull as tapwater, but I do know how to use the LJ-cut tag!

It was an explanation of my normal behavior (I would never carry on a long conversation with someone else in your lj, either.) But then I was anwerering anyway your question about your kitty Bob (which I assume was light banter/joke, too, but I tend to take questions seriously and answer them.)
I would have come over here and answered your comment from there, but I thought since this is normally friends only over here, I'd make the exception, answer briefly and offer that if you wanted more conversation I'd add you back.
As you can see, I'm no doubt a good deal more trouble than I'm worth, but I didn't want you going away thinking whatever precipitated your response.
[and by the way, I'm gone for a week now, so if you respond and don't hear from me until at or near 24 July, it's physical absence, not social offense that prevents a response on my part.
